Points are allocated on a sliding scale, with 250 points for 1st, decreasing by 15 points for each position (2nd = 235, 3rd = 220) down to 25 points for 16th place. NB - positions from the November 2006 WL event don't count towards the overall standings as several teams were unable to attend as they were competing at the World Championships in Perth, Australia.
