Maps and directions Tooting Bec Common Wandsworth Common Clapham Common Tooting Bec Common, Balham Tooting Bec is just a few minutes' walk from Balham tube station. The approximate location of the pitches is here: Balham pitches on Streetmap.co.uk. Nearest tube Balham tube on the Northern Line - just one stop past Clapham South! From Balham tube, walk up Balham Station Road past the Sainsbury's car park on your left. Cross over Bedford Hill at the lights (where The Bedford is) and walk down Fernlea Road. Turn R at the end of the road and go under the little railway bridge. You'll see a kids playground, and behind it a big grassy area. We're setting up there. Nearest/best pub The Bedford is located halfway between the tube station and the pitches. Look on its website for a full list of what it's got to offer - including pole dancing classes on a Thursday evening 7-9pm... Wandsworth Common For the location of the Wandsworth pitches see www.streetmap.co.uk . We play on the east side of the common, towards the south-east corner of the common, by the corner of Bolingbroke Grove and Nightingale Lane - it'll be very obvious from the number of discs flying through the air! Nearest tube Clapham South (Northern Line), although it's quite a hike west down Nightingale Lane (over a mile). Far preferable is to walk from Wandsworth Common BR station (150 yards!). Nearest/best pub The Hope - does a mean sunday roast (bit steep at nine pounds tho'...) and bargainous potato wedges, not to mention the all important beer!! Importantly it's just over the road from the train station: streetmap again. Clapham Common Two pitches are on South Field, right next to Clapham South tube station. The other 2 pitches are either where they are marked on the map above or more directly north of the other pitches next to the road marked Clapham Common Southside. Nearest tube Clapham South (Northern Line). Also walkable from Clapham Junction BR station. Nearest/best pub The Windmill - at the junction of Windmill Drive and Clapham Common South Side.
