The London Winter League, bridging the traditional gap from October to March in British outdoor ultimate, started in 2001. Clapham Ultimate have won all three competitions so far to add to their collection of Tour and Nationals titles. They also won the first Charity Shield event in 2003 against the winners of other Winter Leagues across the country. Local upstarts Fire of London broke the hegemony by winning the 2004 Charity Shield, can they go one further and win the league in 2004-05?
